Time
We hadn't been spending much time together
He was so busy with school
I was feeling frustrated
As I'm sure he was too
After all, he had tests AND me to deal with.
One night he picked me up from a meeting
I didn't expect to spend much time together that evening
But he wasn't feeling well
And decided to let me stay
As the night went on neither of us seemed to be sleeping well
Both of us tossing and turning
I was starting to drift off when he rolled over to face me
And without a word he put his arm across my waist
And pulled me up against him
It was such a wonderful feeling to be held so close
During this frustrating cycle of working too much and not sleeping enough
Right there at that moment I realized
That even though I'm frustrated and lonely at times
I still have the most wonderful man to cuddle up to
That I love so much
And the best part about it is
That no matter how busy he is
He loves me too
