Dream With Me

Dream with me while time's yet slow
Clocks run faster than you know
Listen close to the dragonfly's song
All things are mortal and life's not long
Wear your rose flesh like a glove
Feel, and touch, and know, and love
Be brave and alive, never repent
Sweet wine tasted, warm kisses spent
There is no sin but to delay
For evening will call us in from play
Now at high noon while summer's fair
Kiss the lips and caress the hair
When at last light begins to fade
Better by far if we have made
A summer day of memories sweet
To warm the night that holds no heat
