Dear _________,

                                                        October 3, 2000
Dear _______,

Hello it’s me. Yes, the one you hurt. It was about a week  ago today. I really can’t remember because I’ve tried to forget. It seems like you have already forgotten all our special momories. Like just the two of us, watching the thunderstorm after one of our long chats, and oh the one with us holding each
other while looking at the stars on my back porch. Walking hand in hand while watching the sunset. So many memories...that you have already seemed to forget. WHY? Why would you hurt me so, when you said you’d love me forever, which now that I think about it, it was so long ago. I believed that it was sincere. Like a poem on the blender said, “How can I hate the one that holds my heart?” “How can I love the one that doesn’t love?” It is a hard question.... one that I can’t answer. So to put my mind at ease, I’m writing this letter for no one to see. One day I’ll take it out of my box and think about the memories that will come flooding back on the breeze. I’ll cry one single tear for our memories that were lost but not forgotten, in my mind. But until that day, I’ll look at your picture everyday and say...... “It could have been wonderful to live life that way.”

Always yours,
    Aurora
