Invocation

Oh dear lord, where are we
when words lose their meaning
and each breath
is it's own interjection
and I am glowing with a promise
yet unspoken,
gleaming with sleek hunger
as yet undefined,
shivering when your eyes
touch me like fingers
and no,
this is no casual thing,
no skin thrill
gee-that-was-nice
don't let the door hit you---
You are as insane raving hungry
as i am and long to be fed,
to feed me something hot and sweet
while i move around you,
and you sink into me
with a honeyed sigh
pushing wild hair from my eyes
so you can see what you have done
and glory in the wild flesh
the gasping laughter
and the steady solemn gaze
of gray eyes that are putting
the promise to the last kiss
somewhere deep in your soul.
