Letters In The Sand
Away went the tears
Falling on damp sand
Blended in the pages
Written by my hand
Here crumpled letters
Tears and ink blend
Tearful stained pages
I cried as I penned
Letters lay at my feet
In a tearful downpour
Streaked by tear stains
Each page I then tore
Heart-rending pages
Hands began to shake
Wishing you could read
Or view my heart break
Heartless have no eyes
They never understand
Feelings from my heart
Now fall upon the sand
More tearful each page
Letters began to scatter
His silence reveals to me
My heart did not matter
Hope
