I have never been
that good at confrontation
or organization
but I am well acquainted
with the cutting edge of real
for it is not just pervasive,
it is intrusive as hell
and I know 'they' say that
life is full of second chances
but I say that every day
presents new opportunity
to make things right
and that is the way
I want to seize every day -
the way I want to seize you
in my arms
right now
and make things right...
