As I watch...
As I watch you there
so many memories flood me
and i simply stare
a strand of hair falls over your eye
and yet, i repress the urge to brush it aside
so many memories
and so many hurts
yet i never seem able to let go
if i could, perhaps i could find a way
to move on
without you
but for now
all i can do is stare outside
late and night
and wish upon that falling star
for you
to be here beside me
