The Sleep of Unreason

8:39...
8:39:30
8:40...
There is no moon tonight
For it has fled from the blanketing dark
Which is alive with crackling power
And ancient knowledge
That would do battle
For a shining light, an innocent heart and soul
For purity and white
"and behold,...one third the stars shall fall
And the sea shall tremble with pain and death
And one third the earth shall turn to wormwood
As love which has been forsaken, shall now forsake."
And with trepidation I am prepared
To allow love to consecrate this soul
As the struggle of old ensues
And what love has purified
Can withstand any force opposed.
Sleep, dreams, take me now.
I am ready
8:53...
8:53:30
8:54...
