like diamonds to the wind

You throw your words out there, like diamonds to the wind.
I watch them sparkle as they fall, watch the fire within them dance.
Once I'd have scambled in the dust, rushed to pick them up.
Once I'd have grabed greedily at any that may have been tossed my way.
Now I watch you throw your words out there,
like diamonds to the wind, watch how they sparkle and dance -- adored and admired by so many.
Those pretty jewels they don't mean so much if they are just thrown away.
