Succubus And Incubus

Ah The female was fine and dangerous,
a vision in black and scarlet
fishnets, heels, and a perfume
that made a thousand promises,
with a walk that backed each one.
He saw the raven hair falling
beneath the hat rim,
smiled into the one green eye
he could see---fire?
This one would be fine indeed---
and long had it been since he had tasted
something rich and ripe and seasoned.
The usual fare was sweet---
but he craved one that would fight him---
after all...when the fruit came to easy to the hand,
it was half rotten from the start.

She smiled at him---
a pale ivory gleam that whispered
you want me, mortal.
This one would be a challenge
perhaps almost worthy
but then---it had been ages
since one was more than amusing.
He would give her a run, she was certain
all the sweeter when she began to feed.

So they spoke...each supremely confident,
each certain that refusal was impossible
and each sensing heat...danger...
and oh, the scent of warming interest,
tender flesh.
The meeting was agreed to.
Thirty minutes hence---
a seedy room with thin walls
but then---what more was required
than privacy of a sort.

And they fell on each other
blazing
blatant
ravenous
and he bit her lip
and drew a tiny spot of blood
grinning at her cry---
more lust than pain.
She fell on his neck---
and yes god---teeth!
she bit him hard
and he shuddered in her arms
feeling her lips smear
and it was  more than he could stand---
more than she could do to wait it out.

They came together flesh fantasy and flame
howling demons
monsters to all but each other
and they knew each other at once.
Incubus.
Succubus.
Two who balanced---
even canceled each other---
unable to occupy the same place.
But instead of pulling apart
to save themselves for other hunts
they clung the closer
loving the flames
loving the force that denied them
loving each other
as only one can
who has been doomed to the hell of solitude.
And when they exploded
as a dark star,
the lesser demons gathered
wondering what had made them
give up all they had known.
And their spirits chuckled in the vast of the cosmos.
Come my dark love----come.
