The Subject Speaks

My Lord,
Since you are the artist
And I the mere view
I have but one request
That as you paint
Lets us say that first you draw my face
As you paint you also feel
And make love to each part of my body
As you brush stroke the canvas
That you run your fingers through my flaxen hair
That you stroke my brow, kiss my lips
And trace my face with your fingertips
That you gently come to know the subject matter
As you know your own body outline
Curve for curve
Line for line
Touch for touch
For in that way will I know
How much your love for me is real
When I see the fire and passion
Of each and every brush stroke
I will feel them in your touch as well
We will both thus taste the fire
And passion of the soul
You will be showing the world
Our image, yours and mine together
Forever
I was thinking the Louvre would be
The place we should hang for eternity
What do you mean my face will be blue?
You know how I hate Picasso
Are we showing fire here already
Our first fight
Oh Darling
Kiss me!
