barent sea

i want to leave you in the barents sea
underneath torrents of water
and rising walls of waves
crashing against rocky walls
i want to drop into a dark abyss
and see you float away
away from me and this addiction
that is coursing through my veins
and i ask you to give me peace
from this heroine you've put in me
and i can't seek some rest
when i crave you touching me and i
crave your eyes bearing down on me
and i crave holding on to you
in this dark night
you've inserted yourself into me
and taken it away expecting me
to rid you as a vice
and your memory gathers round my head
and dances round in merry measure
in tune to a nursery rhyme so as
to seem innocent and without harm
your singsong rhymthm playing out
in quarter time
can't you leave my eyes to sleep
and wait for morning to come
and then your in the barents sea
dropped beneath the unforgiving ocean
and then i can recover
and hope that this craving disipates and
i find something else to tide me over
