Take my hand; lead me
Where hushed words whisper
Safe from the ears of the world
And I their only listner
Tell me enduring secrets
While the fleeing night
Becomes scarcely eternal
But our minds, eluding rights
Let me savor you entirely
Forbidden fruit you may be
Let this angel fall tonight
If you'll seiz with surety
Slowly my hands will wander
Past the place of morality
Yours have strayed much faster
Than my own anomaly
Lay me down in dewy meadows
Under a veleveteen sky
Enfused with diamond celestials
That only you outshine
Let me count them on your fingers
With my lips and mouth and tongue
Let me see them in your eyes
And know this is not wrong
