To the Heart of The Matter

Did you know that your voice drives me to total distraction
With a half dozen different inflections just when you say my name,
Whisper I Love You in the dark
And moan softly when you are beyond satisfied
And into the realm of sacred release.
And did you know that the sweetest, most pure language you speak
Are those moments when you never utter a word
But every gaze of your eye
Every touch of your hand
Every sweet kiss of your lips and touch of your tongue
Speaks to the heart of the matter
And to the heart of me.
And I beg you please,
Tell me again the same way.
