Forever rancid is
the loveless heart
desperately searching
in part,
for its' own soul.
Nevermind sympathy
or sweet sorrow's death
but forget not
thine own shadow of fear
stalking your every step.
Reveal the swollen
burst of emotion
from touch,
the human touch
of love and kindness.
Wander about
all that ye may
but set your course
in the direction
of love
and let your final destination
be the end
of a journey well travelled
upon love's own bequest.
