Life without you has come to a halt,
Does not seem to move an inch,
Come back soon from the mountains,

I know you have to do what you have to do,
I know we always want the impossible,
But if you try, you can come back soon,

Look, the snow is falling every day,
It’s getting very cold and Christmas has just gone by,
Sitting all by myself, thinking about you,

A few days more and it would be New Years Eve,
I hope you remember your promise,
Hoping that you would tell me something special,
