Floydian Escape Number 2

Keep me to my utmost self
lest harsh mediocrity dampen my spirits
lest mankind extinguish my remaining faith
like a large glass over a small flame.
They say that he who does not believe in evil,
has much to learn
well I can recomend a splendid tutor
but beware,
when you dance with the devil...
you wait for the song to stop.

As terrible indecision renders me Hamlet
slim chances and long shots slip through my fingers
and pile up in my memory
to be recalled at a later date
and put to good use in a future period of self loathing.
Forget emotional roller coasters
and try the slippery slide
it's ever so much faster
and you need only buy a one way ticket.

Pretty girls and Jet Ski style
cannot make hold my interest
High performance plastic is simply not my thing.
Heterosexual closet inhabitants
Redneck dicks and Hate Boys,
Big guns....No brains
The model citizen of the democratic cultural revolution

Dream Brother...
Take me with you
because no one listens
if it isn't about them
Let me fly on Icarus wings
content,
because I'm higher,
and on the outside at last.
