Behind My Wall

Behind my wall
I'm untouchable.
Nothing phases me.
I'm safe.
I can love myself.
Behind my wall
I see everything
how I want to see it.
Love hurts,
prtend it doesn't exist.
The truth hurts,
ignore it,
and thank God for lies.
I'm nothing?
"they didn't use me,
I used them!"
Behind my wall
I'm whoever you want me to be.
Strong,
screw the world.
They don't know anything!
Happy,
just smile and nod.
Free,
I do what I want,
what do you care?
Behind my wall
I've got you fooled.
You think I'm hurting,
but I couldn't care less.
They think I'm the victum,
don't they?
You think I'm innocent,
but looks can be decieving.
You feel sorry for me,
but I feel sorry for you.
Behind my wall
I hide the truth.
From myself,
because I really care.
From you,
because I really am hurting.
From the world,
because I'd rather appear unbreakable,
than broken.
