Numb To Everything
Someone once told me that
it's easier not to get hurt
if you don't care...I've come
to the conclusion they're right.
Since I've taken that advice I
haven't shed one tear over you,
or the situation. Yet it's akward
to not be bathing in self pity,
using the potent soap of loathing.
I just don't understand what made
me want to be numb.
