Until We meet again

“Until we Meet again”

You left when I was six
No more jack be nibble or candlesticks
No more fun in the park with me in your arms
No more joyful moments now that you’re gone
Until we meet, again I will save all my stories
I will tell you how I cried
I will tell you why I lied
I will tell you how I am
I will tell you that I don’t like Spam!
Until we meet again grand-dad
I love you and it makes me sad
Thinking of how you never could see
The girls I brought home
And the about all the sticks and stones
Until we meet again
I know you will be proud
But there you are
Up there in that big cloud
So until we meet again grand-dad
I will tell you of the stories and when I get sad
You can put your arms around me and tell
Me everything is ok and that I will live to see another day
Until we meet again…
