"That Single Tear"
That beautiful night when you walked up to me and smiled
I suddenly shed a single tear
You shed a heartfelt tear as well
and made your feelings so perfectly clear
My eyes showed such passion, so much emotion
When i first shed that single tear
Just as your tear told me you loved me
Things were as real as they appeared
I remember how I gave you a smile so warm
Then I wiped away my tear
You returned that smile with abundant love
Then said those three words i longed to hear
I returned those three words, and kissed your lips so soft
Then one more time, i shed a tear
My heart pounded, it felt so warm and tingly
Holding you, the lady I love so dear
We gazed at eachother in the moonlight
In that moment, we stood so near
I'll always remember when we first professed our love
We both shed a single tear
