Is it stormy weather for the Blender of Love?

February, the month of the Valentine, was kind of a low point in the number of works sent in, but oddly enough the quality didn't seem to suffer... a stalwart group of regulars and some new faces made some excellent pieces that I'm proud to put here on the front page.

I wonder what it all means! Is it time to redouble our efforts and maybe reach out to the world via Facebook? Or let things quietly wind down? After over 15 years on the web and counting, it's tough to know what the future holds!

But it probably holds more good works and lots of fun, romantic viewpoints here on the Blender of Love-- so as always, read and enjoy!

Harem seems to be utilizing a new way of playing with the space of lines, I think it's effective.

A wish.

Nice tight rhythm here.

Song of sadness.

You know, the thing about drowning is how so often there's no sound or failing at the end.

Only in my Dreams - Mercy Echenique
"I'll stop now before my rhymes begin to worsen." -- sometimes it's a bit forced, but nice overall.

Such a lovely use of the sense and sound; lyrical.
