I sit in a lake of despair Blinded by my fallen tears Hurt all around me I try to figure out How could someone be so cruel So mean Why God, Why did it happen to me? Prayers come to me now It help me see this through I thank God, he will help me over you. If it was for his love And my true friends who are stand by my side I know this soul, would lay down and die Cause that's what he took when he said those words When he slept in my bed When he held me tight Now I just think back .. And hope for sleep tonight I'm full of regrets Someone said one day he'll get his day Maybe that's true Just now let me forget And stop my heart from feeling the hurt, Stop feeling used. Someone pull me out.. Cause I can't do this on my own.. I am weighed down by the tears Please, I can't face this alone.. |
