It wasn't that hard to walk away. Although, I feel the tug, my heart strings sway. The words goodbye never spoke so soft. The silent whisper, the phrase somewhat lost. Already thoughts of you drown my mind. A constant reminder of what I can find. I'm not holding on. It's all for the best. This time away to let emotions rest. At this point why do I hide? Just hold on enjoy the ride. Something special about you and I. Someday I know our love will fly. |
