This is for you...you know who you are...I came up with it over the summer, just wanted to let you know what I thought about the whole 3 and a half months. Our first walk around campus, you making fun of my feet when I walk. Movie nights in the dorms, all cuddled up on the futon. Endless games of Uno, just hanging out together. Late night stops at Subway, to feed our stomachs. Elegant dinners at Regent Court, making me feel like a princess. Night walks along the river, being able to talk, one on one. Test-driving my dream car, thinking there was a possibility I could get it. Two dollar movies, the old movies are the best movies. So many memories. So much of ourselves shared. So much love between us. So strong of a bond between hearts. Love isn't something to take for granted. When you find the one person you have dreamed of, you hold onto them tightly, refuse to let go. When I found you, I knew you were the one. It was like God was sending me a message, the message that I finally found the one. I know you are the one for me, And no matter how far away we are now, I know that someday, We will be side by side. And one day, You will be at one end of an aisle, And I will be at the other end. But after taking about 20 steps, You and I will become we. You and I will become us. You and I will become one. |
