Tonight I shall sleep with you in my memory, with your bright eyes burning into mine, the skin of your hands sweeping over my hair. I will sleep that deep sleep of a somnambulist, lying in my soft and comfortable bed, feeling neither soft nor comfortable, wanting to wake with you near me. Tonight I shall sleep a restless and fleeting sleep, with the simple hope of meeting you in my dreams. |
