There are moments in life where nothing on this earth seems solid, where time and all it holds, blurs together and where everything that was true seems to be a lie. During these times the one element that remains deliciously real, is the way your arms feel around me The one element that reamins constant, is your love and the way your heart beats so softly against the smooth surface of your chest. I know that no matter where we are in life, those few things are proof that as long as we have the strength to go on our love will burn as brightly as it did from the beginning. And that is how I can fight so passionately, and that is why I can cry so deeply, without losing hope for a love that erases the concept of anger, fear, and sadness. We forget all the power we hold within ourselves to love each other so completely and yet survive with the knowledge that it will always be there like the sun after a storm, spring after a long winter and the coolness of night after a garishly hot day. |
