I dreamed last night I woke up in the middle of the woods You were there smiling at me You held out your arms and helped me to my feet and we walked through the shadows hand in hand. We stopped to rest beneath the trees and you gently pushed me back until the tall grasses framed the evening sky above your head You lightly traced the contours of my face and smiling, lowered your lips to my throat My fingers tangled themselves in yor hair and when you looked eyes I could see that your were dark and cloudy with emotion. At that moment I drank in your taste and at your touch my body cried out to take all of you in. Then it began to rain and I closed my eyes against the droplets of water. When I opened them I was alone in my bed and aching for some aspect of the dream to be real I got up and went out into the storm, staring up as it poured down over my bare skin As I stood there, I thought about the way you touch me, like you aren't sure if you can Then, when I sigh delicately, you read my body as though you molded it with your own two hands Your kiss brings about a rush of heat and when you pull away I feel as though there are flames in my eyes Each moment I spend with you is like tasting a form of sweet ecstasy Even now you intoxicate me I can feel you running through my veins part of me now and forever. |
