A Heart Worth Breaking

An endless effort gone unseen.
Again, tears fade me away, and rust
The suit of armor you wear with fear.

Ruler of hearts, maybe even a queen.
I closed my eyes and jumped forth with lust.
And realize my luck comes from a broken mirror.

My mind sweeps a little mean.
"Off with his head," I scream and I'm just.
No more sugar-coated lies will you slip in my ear.

Your touch, your love, God how I fiend.
Over-whelming heartache I could breakdown and bust.
Instead I just breathe and dorp only a single tear.

My senses are quite keen.
And your heart only collects dust.
I'm tired of standing, but you're happy here.

Tell me, how has it been
To see my crown melted along with my trust.
I'm weak and I'm afraid my ending draws near.

All my love you had to of seen.
But, go on, break my heart if you must.
Get the show on the road, let this head of hate rear.

Of my castle you're trying to wean.
But I tore it down, it blew away with a gust
And if you're quiet and listen you will hear...

"I didn't know I had a heart worth breaking."

Those words pound, and I let out a scream.
Take me away, lock me up with the rest.
You disappear, and you...the only cure.

Now at the end, my life seems to lean.
Wishing I would have let that suit rust.
Goodbye love, goodbye my dear.
