Am I Worthy of Your Love?

Oh, my love, if I had wings
I would fly up to the heavens
And bring back all the glory of all the stars
And I would present them to you to thank you
For all the ways that you have brought light into my life
And filled my heart with such a radiance.
But I know that there aren't enough stars
In all the heavens to ever equal
Even a tiny percent of your luster.

Oh, my love, if I had all the riches
Of all the kings and queens that ever graced this earth.
If I had all their grandeur, all their royalty, all their splendor
I would offer it all to you on a diamond platter
In a meager effort to try to repay all the ways
That you have filled my life with the richness of your love,
The wealth of your time, the treasure of your heart.

Oh, my love, if I had all the time
That had ever been since the beginning of creation
If I had all the moments that could squeeze into a lifetime
I would gather all the seconds, all the minutes, all the hours
I would bring together all this time and give it all to you.
But I know that even all the time in the history of time
Would never be enough to replenish all you have given me.

Alas, my love, I have not all that you are worthy of.
I could never hope to give to you all that you deserve.
I can only give to you the meager offerings of a poor soul
The pledge of my endless love, a vow of eternal faithfulness
And of course my heart, which you have already captured
And held deep within the infinity of your soul.
