This is ackward. It's so quiet. I'm standing right beside you in a line. You want to buy popcorn and a drink and I'm a little worried because the line is long and our movie is going to start in about six minutes. I start to complain and you hit me on the shoulder and tell me to shutup. I feel so comfortable around you already, and to think, I just met you last week in the library. You were sitting there reading your book and me being the big dork I am asked you what class you were taking when the book cover obvioiusly said "Classics of Philosphy". Just trying to break the ice, I was never good with "pick-up lines" anyway. So now a week later I find myself standing here in line with you. You know soon enough we'll be holding hands. Maybe one day we'll be kissing in line. Or I'll be holding you from behind whispering how beautiful I think you are into your ear. Soon enough we are going to be so close that you'll be like my best friend. Some day we're going to be so close that we might even fall in love. Soon enough we'll be so close a moment of silence isn't going to be an ackward moment, but just another moment....together that is. I can't wait. |
