We saw perfection The moment was surreal. Every comment found its reply The unexpected kiss- so sweet. I know you said because it was "us" We wanted perfection. We saw reality Lessons learned in terrible twists New demands offered- less love. I know I wanted to stay I think I was too young but I wanted perfection. We see the end Months before the words are spoken We forget to struggle against common enemies We tear, instead, at each other. Thoughts begin now with "What might have been..."
