I wandered down the cobbled street, and saw you walking ahead I tried to catch up to you, but somehow, I stopped someone else instead I strolled along the beachfront and watched the waves roll to shore I thought I glanced you by the rocks, but then you were there no more I sat down outside the café and slowly sipped my drink Im sure you had just passed me by in the second it took me to blink I walked through forest trails and stopped there by the stream I turned and you were beside me, then I woke up from my dream Will I ever really find you? |
