| I wonder how lucky that piece of jewelry is - the one I am going to gift you this month. Sitting pretty in a mall, behind a fine showcase, waiting to be picked up by me. It will touch my hands and then travel all the way from here to where you live and stick to your body for the rest of your life. It will travel places with you, it will sleep with you, and it will bathe with you. It will be always with you, glowing, shining, glittering and admiring you day and night as you smile, laugh and cry with each passing day. How I wish I could at least be that piece of jewelry in your life. |
