Now I know what it means to truly lose you All of you We don't even speak Stand next to each other backs turned to one and other No eyecontact, No how are you's?, No more tapping on my shoulder I miss that, Not 'us', but you, as a friend, a person, your presence And every weekend I'm sad when I see you walk past me without saying hi My heart breaks all over again when I laugh with the one standing next to you without even looking at you It's like we don't know each others name As if our worlds have never crossed And I smile, I try to Wondering if you feel the same way as me If you miss my presence now that I'm out of your life Wondering if you regret what you did and said every time I turn my face when you come walking But i'm afraid it doens't bother you at all, that it doens't take a place in your mind That you don't even notice and don't have the longing to talk to me again I'm scared you don't hurt That you just couldn't care less But you are my special somebody You told me I was special and promised me I had a special place in your heart that said You made yourself worthy and you stole a place in my heart with every word said You broke me when you said that it does't apply to me anymore And I pray that you were lying, playing hard, or maybe you mean it, then But now with me gone, so are all the stress and problems All the questions and figths And you, cooled down, realize I still have that reserved spot That I was never just a normal person, But anger made you say different Because you are my special somebody, right now |
