Through a Plate Glass Window

I went window shopping last night,
Still heartbroken over a break-up fight.
Feeling guilty and lonely,
Thinking thoughts of revenge only.
When something I saw caught my eye.
A store with a sale of hearts I passed by.
"50, 60, 90 percent off!
If you miss this chancne, it'll be your loss!"

The store held hearts of all shapes and sizes
Yet the seller could not guarantee me no surprises.
A hole in one, a leak in one more
Very discouraged, I headed toward the door.
But he exclaimed, "trade your heart for a good one -- guaranteed.
And the one he showed me seemed to only fit me!
Signing the contract there was something I didn't see...
The fine print at the bottom that read "Not risk free."
