I'm thankful that I have a job that gives me more hours than I deserve. I'm thankful that I don't have any time to think an independant thought while I'm work. I'm thankful for techno music. Songs that don't have any lyrics just a heavy bass beat filtered with electronica tunes. I'm thankful for my friends that never allow a moment of silence while we are together. I'm thankful that they are still able to put a smile on my face. I'm thankful that I'm busy throughout the day with school, I'm thankful that I have about a bajillion more midterms to study for. I'm thankful that my schedule doesn't allow any time to think for myself. But still... There are those seconds, those moments.. While I'm working, when I hear a song, when my friends smile, or when I'm sitting quietly studying...there are still moments and seconds... when I'm reminded of the pain you left me with. |
