It's a hot July night and we have the air conditioning on full blast. The radio is blaring in the background a song by Joe a R&B singer. We're on your bed making good use of the springs. You pull me close and moan so loud your dogs start to bark thinking you're in pain or trouble. That was over a year ago... There are times when I'm in my car and I have my air conditioning on and a Joe song pops on the radio and I think back to that hot night in July with you. And I smile I just smile.. |
