The Traveler

Weary from her journey
She searches for a place to rest
A shelter
Protection from all that she has seen and done
The winds blow against her
Tearing her once innocent lips into jagged peices
Sand in her once nieve eyes
Are those tears falling to her cheeks

Her worn heart beats slower
It hesitates when love is mentioned
It hides when a man comes close
Her heart has been broken
Her heart has been mended
Her heart has hardend
The lock sealed and once then again

Where should she go
Where can she hide
She is crying and no one can know

Be strong your journey is almost over
Heavens gates are all but too close
Close your eyes young traveler
Sleep tonight
The day has yet to come
