The moon nestled itself within the clouds Its beams spoke with words out loud An embrace of love holds the words in check With outstretched palms each star they collect Drifting in and out of endless conversations Eyes of wonder tracing constellations Seal these times together With the heat of our kiss Take a picture with your heart A charming reminder of who you miss Our memories replay every note of our lives Each time we laughed, every time that we cried Until all left remaining Were the sounds of angel wings We finally understood why In heaven they must sing The beauty is everlasting As in their eyes it rings Copyright(c)2002 Joseph Hardy |
