to whom it may concern... i'm a hopelessly hopeless romantic...so shoot me. I like romantic strolls along the beach, midnight picnics and staring at the stars. I love talking on the phone late at night, going on 3am love trips to your place and leaving roses and flowers on your doorstep. I'll romance you until you turn red. I'll love you till it hurts. I'm not a gentleman but I like to act like one. You will never have to open a door again for the rest of your life or pull out your own chair. If there's a puddle on the street along a path you need to cross my jacket will cover it. I'm not romantic, I just like to try. I don't fall too easily but I can get my heart broken in a second if I let you in. So if I let you in just be careful. Either your love or lack thereof will spawn a hundred love poems or thousands of sad ones. Either way I'm going to end up writing about you. I'm not a religious man but I believe in something. If there was a beginning there has to be a beginnER right? I guess I refuse to believe that life was just one giant act of serpendipty. Someone once said arguing over which relgion is the right one is like arguing over who has the better imaginary friend. Well, so far my God does card tricks and can pull rabits out of hats. I'm a sucker for card tricks...like I said I'm not a religious man but I believe in something. And I'll believe in you if you believe in me. I can be your biggest pet peeve. I bite on my nails while waiting at a stop light. I like putting my feet up in the movie theathers. I swallow my gum after chewing it. I never put the toilet seat down. I love meat and I refuse to eat anything that doesn't contain it. I'm not perfect and I'm not trying to be. I won't apologize for any shortcomings I may have, but I won't be arrogant about any talents I may posses. So if you're willing and if you're ready and if you read this and cared enough to finish it maybe we can get this started. I'll find you someday, just take care of your heart until then. If you've been hurt before, dont worry, because baby I'm on my way. Until then... Take care and all that with-all-my-love stuff. -Jon |
