| Please would somebody just listen to ME for a change? I have sat up late, night after night, with so many of you. I have listened, I have responded, and I have made you feel better. I Know I have, I'm good at that. And then, finally, one of you gets me to open up, and I do. And after all of the patience, and the care I have shown for you; all of the times I've listened for hours, and told you what you have needed to hear, what do you say to me? "Hey babe...life's shit...and it keeps getting harder". Well thank you. That's just what I needed to hear. Please remind me of that the next time you need my kind words. |
