even when you're gone you still have an effect in my life everything I am today is everything I thought I needed to be for you whatever that is but some things don't change i'm still a sleep deprived brain fried student i still like my eggs scrambled and the music of Huey Lewis and the News is still one of my guilty pleasures i still play Nintendo and I'll always love Super Mario Jack Daniels is still my version of milk i still listen to cheesy 80s love songs i can still spend hours in a bookstore i still believe sports fans are a secret evil of this world i still think Coca-Cola is better than Pepsi i still wish I could write like Henry Miller, ee cummings, Pablo Neruda, and Robert Frost and yes I still write thoughtless poetry and i still cant write a single line of poetry about you without crying some things dont change... |
