I am kicking myself... Oh what an unimaginable experience... I let a perfect opportunity slip away... Oh God, there we were after lunch... It's so easy to be with you... I turned towards you to say goodbye... Our eyes met...it was incredible... Time stood still for that moment... You leaned into me to give me a kiss... I looked down and grabbed your arm... Squeezed it tight..."love you" rolled off my lips... Without hesitation I flung open the car door... Jumped out and ran into the building like a frightened deer... I was completely thrown off balance... Or was I? Am I sending mixed signals or was it you? |
