THE BIG EMPTY

I want to be the vessel that floats
on our rich and boundless ocean;
craft hovering o'er bountiful lands.

Always be a filled mind you need,
the warm heart you care to hold,
these lips and arms holding close.

Eyes shining bright reflecting you,
the body taking you in, giving life;
yet, here I am in this space, alone.
