i remember your fake contacts that turned your hazel brown eyes into a soft and inviting green you were so proud of them "Don't I look pretty?" you would ask blinking and winking at me you must have felt pretty with those contacts on because you kissed me and for awhile the color in the grass in the money and the soft lime-like glow from my cell phone reminded me of you but eventually the glow lost its draw and you faded like summer but still sometimes i miss that look in your eyes that told me you wanted me and needed to love me even if it was fake and faded back to brown |
