| The words "I love you " seem to trip so easily off the tongue , maybe I,m gettin old or just watching too many romantic movies but in my 40 somethin years on this earth I,ve used those three words sparingly.The words " I love you " can hit you the way sunshine blinds you when you pull back the curtains, like a rebate checque from the IRS in the post or when you wake in the night and feel arms wrapped around you with her body snuggled in to you like two spoons in a drawer. I,ve been snuggled and heard the words and stared at the ceiling all night because I wasn,t with the woman I wanted to hear the words from,(though we are still friends ).Use " I love you " carefully, remember years down the line those words may be someones memories. |
