There's a new friend I've found, and in every message box, he says "Hello, Sunshine!" because I tend to make him smile. What he doesn't know, is that when I read those words, my stomach turns, skin crawls, and tears form in my eyes. Sometimes, you'd call me that, You'd kiss me and say "GoodMorning, Sunshine!", even when I woke up angry with the world, you thought it was hilarious, the evil looks I'd give you, because as soon as the first one flew your way, I'd think about what you'd said, and eventually smile. I miss that, and what so many fail to see, I'm just plain blue, the sun doesn't even shine wherever I am, The sky is full with storm clouds, my laughter sounds more like thunder, my eyes shoot lightening rods, and it constantly rains. |
