there's little differences that happened between us, that hasn't occured between lovers... a spectacular romantic beginning with a messy ending... what has shaped ours different are the memories... what sparks the memory of me? when you smell white linen or raspberries? when you taste Santa Margarrita wine or a Superior Margarita; and then there is the taste of a black martini... maybe it's a chocolate éclair or yeller ice cream? when you see or hear anything about Memphis, Elvis, or Bruce Willis? what about when you hear Faith/breathe, desperado, you say it best when you say nothing at all, i miss my friend? do you take a second glance at a short brunette with a sweet southern voice, or a daisy? when you pass a white/pewter GMC Jimmy or look to see how red the river is today? and how about when it's the week of March 27th? do you sigh at the thought of a massage; the thought of a surprise? oh also there's... a healing hand, enstom's almond toffee, chicken cesar salad, shiny silver flasks, tony the tiger, ducks, penguins & bunnies, the dallas book depository, beale street, flowered flipflops, sushi floating in miniature boats, hot sake, & stuttgart, germany. Words like pilla, cryning, beautimous, & the ramada-dada? I maybe feeding my ego just a bit, But how could you forget me? |
