RAIN DANCE

..... like you once did
now this rain came in
first soft drops pattering
then winds blustery, fierce
in night hail knocked damages
lightning struck, thunder roared

again soon felt myself drowning
to gathering freshwater drizzle
on a sea of salt tears
treading in this deluge
until able to rise and dance
come dance with me again
